Jeff Anderson, ETSU Associate Vice President and Colleagues to Speak
ACW is pleased to welcome Jeff Anderson, Associate Vice President for University Advancement and Planned Giving at ETSU. He serves as liaison for giving/fundraising support to the ETSU College of Business and Technology which includes the Construction Engineering Technology program. Jeff is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law and ETSU. Joining Jeff will be Dr. Keith Johnson who has served as Chair/Professor of the ETSU Department of Technology since 2001. Courses he has taught include Construction Technology, Residential and Commercial Planning and Computer Aided Design Drafting. Rounding out the group is Dr. Ken Kellogg, Coordinator of the Construction Engineering Technology Program in the ETSU Department of Technology.
The representatives from ETSU will be educating ACW members on curriculum and programs within the Construction and Engineering Technology Program, as we lay the foundation for our ETSU scholarship endowment. We will have an opportunity to learn more about the program and how our scholarship can benefit a worthy student. The ACW 16th Annual Golf Tournament on August 14th will kick off our fundraising efforts for the ETSU scholarship endowment. Don't miss this opportunity to get in on the ground level of this new opportunity for ACW to support women in construction.

Thanks to everyone who supported our 4th Annual Wine and Dine event on May 15th at Flemings Prime Steakhouse. Sixth-five attendees and great planning by co-chairs Betty Ezell and Susan Hicks resulted in our most successful event ever. At the June 11th ACW membership meeting, Betty Ezell presented a check for $2,700 to Susan Burgess Parrish, Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of Anderson County. Click here for a thank you letter from Susan and HFHAC. Thanks to all those who attended, helped plan and donated door prizes. A HUGE thank you to everyone at Flemings - their generous support of the event helped make it so successful. To support or learn more about HFHAC, please visit their website www.hfhac.org.
